I'm so happy with this purchase I had to go ahead and write a review. I have a girl who absolutely refuses to let anyone clip her claws. I can only assume there has been great pain in the past when they have been clipped by myself or the groomer because anytime I get the nail clippers out she would fight me tooth and nail and scream as if someone was trying to skin her alive. I was very apprehensive about the positive reviews here with the HappyPaws because she is just an overall jumpy dog as well when it comes to noises. So I got the 2 C batteries this morning after just leaving the device beside her bed for a day. I loaded the batteries & turned it on to find it only makes a med hum. I'd say the grooming sheers are much louder than this thing. I then as she sat there staring at me rubbed it over my own arms & legs to show her it didn't hurt me... & trust me she watched closely! I then ran it over her sides, legs, head, & paws while it was on & she did not even flinch! Amazing!â¤ď¸ She typically heads for the hills with any new sound let alone experience. It went so well touching the paws with it I inserted a nail & she just laid there & looked at me! Total miracle! We just filed all her front nails & will have to work on them again tomorrow. Her poor nails were so long they were turning her toes, so this was purchased out of desperation! I wish I would of gotten this year's ago! No moRe WWE smack down to TRY to clip her claws. I'm very impressed & relieved thanks to HappyPaws.

I have 2 dogs one big guy and one little, we live in an apt and their nails get to be quite long since they are not outside running around all day.. i have tried clippers on them and always worry about hurting them and making them bleed.. with this nifty tool i don't have to worry... the trimmer is pretty quiet and it doesn't scare the dogs and i can work on there feet every couple of days a little at a time.. with out worry.. it handles the big thick toenails as well as the smaller dogs nails.. no changing tools the nail trimmer was exactly as described in my purchase and works perfectly. I bought it very close to Christmas so it was delivered afterwards, the price was fantastic..would def buy from TRUEFAITHSUPPLY again.â¤ď¸

I'm normally pretty nervous when I clip my dogs' nails, but the HappyPaws takes away the stress.â¤ď¸ With this product I don't have to worry about clipping too short, I just file down to the desired length. Plus it gives their nails a nice rounded edge so they're not as sharp as when they just get clipped. Thank you!

My 7 month old chihuahua hated having her nails cut. My husband said "just take her to the vet" to get her nails done. At $40 - $50, depending on if the tech or the vet does it, and her needing it about every 2 weeks, I thought no way, that's ridiculous, she's 5 pounds top, we should be able to do this. My friend gave me the HappyPaws trimmer because once she bought it several months ago, she decided she'd pay the vet to trim her lab's nails instead of attempting it herself. When she passed it on to me, I said "thanks" even though I figured I'd just be giving it to Goodwill. One day while I was out shopping, my husband decided to give it a try on Bella (the chihuahua). And she let him! He said she seemed really relaxed while he did it.â¤ď¸ I figured that was a one time deal, that she was too tired to fight him. So about a week ago, I mentioned she needed her nails trimmed. He said he wanted to try the HappyPaws again. I said Ok, this ought to be fun to watch. To my surprise she zoned out and let him. I've never seen her so calm!â¤ď¸ I really didn't think this would work, but it did! I have attached two pictures of her getting her nails done.

I recently purchased the HappyPaws nail trimmer as an alternative to us ring traditional nail clippers on my 2 year old Parson Russell Terrier. My little one has always despised having his nails clipped and actually pouts for several hours after manual clippers are used. I was pleasantly surprised when I got the nail clippers home and turned on the clippers to get him adjusted to the sound. He quickly adapted and instead of fighting tooth and nail to trim his nails he actually fell asleep like he was getting a puppy foot massage! He was long overdue for a trim so I will be using this at least every other week to get and keep his nails at the desired length. If you are looking for a trimmer I would recommend starting with this one before purchasing a more expensive product. I gave it a chance purely due to availability and I would definitely purchase again!â¤ď¸

GREAT PRODUCT! âşď¸ I Love it. My little dog has black nails, cutting them, I have gotten too close, this makes sure I don't. Easy, & the refills are perfect. Does not take a lot of effort either. The batteries seem to last quite awhile too, so no worries there.

When I saw my dog groomer using one of these I decided to get one to use at home. From the very first time he has been fine with it. âşď¸ With some practice I even mastered rounding his claws so there are no sharp edges. The guard makes it almost impossible to go into the quick. Just follow the guidelines for acquainting your pet with it and you be saving money just like I do.

I have an 8 lbs chihuahua/jack Russell short hair mix. Grooming her is always easy except for the nails trimming part. She is always such a nervous mess when I take her to the groomer. When they use the loud grinder, she just stands there, shaking and scares out of her mind while giving me the saddest puppy eyes. It breaks my heart each time but I'm always so afraid of doing this part myself, until now. First of all, this is so much more affordable because each time I take her to the groomer costs $25. Second, the motor on this grinder is so QUIET. The first time I turned it on, she did not have any negative reaction at all. I tried the grinder tip on my own skin and I did not feel any abrasion. But it worked really well on the nails. I watched a couple of tutorial videos first then grinded down her nails with no problem. It was a little awkward maneuvering at first because I'm not use to the motions. I think I will improve in time because each video suggested I do a little bit of grinding each week instead of doing a lot of grinding in one sitting. Also, I find that having my dog on her back is easier to see where the quick is in the nail beds.

This is a really nice nail grinder. We raise puppies and this is a great tool to have for trimming those razor sharp puppy nails. I have been hesitant to try any nail grinders because I was worried the loud noise might scare them but that was not the case at all. It was actually a very low hum and not at all bothersome to them or me. It came with clear instructions but really didn't need any since it is self explanatory. It was really effective at getting the pups' nails trimmed to a reasonable length. I'm very happy with my purchase, highly recommend.â¤ď¸

We have a nine week old Newfoundland mix puppy. Right now he has needle sharp claws and in a few month he will what will seem like bear claws. I got this nail grinder a couple of days ago to try to keep those claws under control. He doesn't seem to be bothered at all with the hum and vibrations from the unit and and the trimming went quite well. It's a relief to have those needles dulled a bit and good to know we can continue to use this even when he is an adult. I'm also impressed with the feel and appearance of the product, it seems to be well made.
